Good Morning Britain presenter Sean Fletcher has been announced as the new ambassador for Beating Bowel Cancer.
Fletcher commented 'Beating Bowel Cancer is a charity very close to my heart, as my mother died of the disease nine years ago when she was just 54 years old. That's why I now feel so strongly about raising awareness of the disease. It is far less known than some other cancers and so people are less likely to spot the symptoms and get them checked out early, which could make the difference between surviving or not'.
